100% Sangiovese

It was a difficult vintage with low production due the spring frost and hot and dry summer. Due that the grape was concentrate with a lot fo color, a lot of tanning and alcohol.

At the color is intense and still lively ruby red. Spicy notes on the nose such as licorice, tobacco, and blackberry jam.

In the mouth it is fresh and full, and persistent. It is dry. Acidity and tannin prolong the tasting recalling liquorice and tobacco aftertaste. The tannins are thin and ripe after a long ageing.
