Generally considered today to be one of the best red wines in Italy, the Torte pergole is only developed with the fruits of the oldest vines of montevertine blood. After a neat winemaking, the wine spent a year in Slavic oak barrels of 50 hectoliters before being transferred to used French oak barrels for additional six months. The result is a wine of incredible longevity that offers brilliant aromas of cherry, dried flowers, cigar box and rich earth which prolonges in the mouth. Well -developed tannins make the pergoleum torts the pleasure of drinking even at such a young age, although an additional decade of aging in the cellar will strengthen the tasty and cooked character of wine and will bring it even more finesse.
