Moreau-Naudet Chablis comes from vineyards located in the towns of Préhy and Courgis, in southern Chablis (Burgundy). These vines are 20-30 years old and cultivated according to ecological principles and with a limited yield of around 35 hl / ha. When the grapes are fully ripe, they are harvested manually. In the winery, the Moreau-Naudet Chablis grapes are meticulously selected. They are then gently pressed for 4 hours and the resulting must ferments with native yeasts. Finally it remains on its lees to develop excellent texture, depth and quality. Notes of underripe stone fruit, lemon zest, and salty chalk dominate the wine’s acid-driven palate. This bottle seriously overdelivers for the price. Moreau-Naudet Chablis is a white wine from a unique terroir, and although the grapes age for a long time, the wines are not heavy.
